Accosting People is Costing You.
It’s really funny, as an “observer” I have noticed that a lot of these big programs, courses, Internet Guru’s have finally realized that there are more of “us” than there is of them… and other experienced online computing tweeping people! [for newbees I have posts for you} but, read on... you might be able to relate... if not... "get ready" cause you will find out...
I mean really, most people coming online today want to learn "how to use the computer" they just came online with!
They do not know what a browser is! {At least I didn't!}
Or about how to, or where to do a keyword search for markets,,, they don't know the first thing about what to do online... or where to do it... and these marketing molesters are all over them...
They are in email, they are in your face, the second these peeps sign up for a facebook or a myspace... these guru's are trying to tell them they need a business...
Some have never thought of ever having a business in their lives,,, nor have they come online for a "business opportunity" {ok, so,,,maybe some have...} and yes online business is a good thing...
but initially is that WHY they come on line? It wasn't on my mind when I came online!
And I had an OFFLINE business!!! I knew BUSINESS...
But coming online wasn't for a business...in my case anyway....who knows maybe you are different..chances are, you are!
And oh, yes... twitter... some are buying computers, iphones or laptops simply because they think "it's time to get online" because they "heard" Oprah is on twitter and twitter is everywhere...time for them to finally take the leap, and get into the 21 century.
These new innocent, socially friendly people, who are perhaps "computer challenged" or tech, know challenged like I are being attacked by "marketers"...
I don't care how many times you hear, or you learn as marketers at ANY level that you don't show them "your product" first, or your program etc...to "Build a relationship"
You are still giving off that scent, that stench of "I will get you" you have that look in your eye, in your tweets,,, in your emails...
its about "getting" its all about your "getting people" come on....let's, let people come on line, and enjoy the ride, learn some things for themselves,,, stop accosting these new people...
Big boys and girls who want to learn "how to do something" know how to search youtube and google and if they don't they will learn, like I did...!
They will find you and yes, they will get on twitter... ... step back,,, relax... let people come to you...
Stop throwing your crap at them before they are ready... ok I am rambling... but then it is 420 and past 4:20 ; )
Advocate of many important and highly relevant worldly type issues... and proud of it...!
Stop throwing YOU, OR yourself [and your new crap...] at people…STOP looking for the next niche product you could create for this new market coming online…
maybe treating people like people instead of “markets” might work for you too… give it a try…
And no, you are not the “expert” yet, and neither are they, don’t “position yourself as a leader” when clearly you are not…and stop teaching people to do that too…unless of course they are leaders, and experts in their field…
and if they (or you) are not experts,,, then become one… FOR REAL!!!
Don’t give us all the same spiel, please don’t tell us you are going to show us how we can get loads of traffic, and tons of leads and make a 250,000.00 a month,..
when you have not done it,,, or when we don’t even know what a lead is!???
accosting is costing you…
